Directions for families who are ready to register for the first time at GoodShepherdLutheranSchool. 

1.  Complete a registration blank (both sides).  Type or print (blue or black ink).  Call us if you need additional blanks.

2.  Attach your registration fee.  Registration fees are non-refundable.

3.  If you are registering for:

A.  Kindergarten:  submit a verification of birth date.  Children must be five on or before December 2, 2008 to enter kindergarten in September.

B.     Grade 1:  submit a current report card from kindergarten and a statement from your child’s school indicating that he/she will pass or has passed kindergarten.

C.     Grades 2-8:  submit a current report card and a copy of the most recent standardized achievement test scores.

4.  Mail or bring the above items to GoodShepherdLutheranSchool,

 2949 Alamo Street, Simi Valley, CA  93063

 

5.  Fees are listed on the Tuition Fee Schedule for 2008-2009.  

6.  A limited number of grants for financial assistance are available based on financial need; confidential applications are available from the office.

7.  Call us to request either of the following; they are not required for enrollment, but we are pleased to provide them:

 A.     A consultation with the principal, on the phone or in person, who will be happy to answer any questions you may have about our school.

 B.     A classroom observation in one of our classes.

8.    Come on any Wednesday school is in session beginning February 6 to 4191 Cochran Street from 9-5 to take a tour of the campus, have your questions answered, and speak with a parent representative about the school.  For more information, call the school office, 526-2482.
